Hey everybody!!!
Well, Ambs' pastor's new book came out yesterday, and I finally got my hands on a copy of WILD GOOSE CHASE (Subtitle: Reclaim the Adventure of Pursuing God)and have begun reading it. Oh my gosh......it will mess you up! A MUST read!!! I loved his book, IN A PIT WITH A LION ON A SNOWY DAY, but this newest book is awesome, too!
Here is a "zinger" from Chapter 2 (page 16-17) that I LOVE!:
"I'm not convinced that your date of death is the date carved on your tombstone. Most people die long before that. We start dying when we have nothing worth living for. And we don't really start living until we find something worth dying for. Ironically, discovering something worth dying for is what makes life worth living." ~~~ Mark Batterson
WOW! That is powerful.....just let it sink in. I truly encourage EVERYONE to read BOTH of these books!
